BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF RESILIENCE
Citizens, Business leaders, Corporate Giving Managers, and Communitiy Influenciers recognize that a community’s strength and health can be measured, in part, by the resilience of its youth. And to that end, they have answered the call with their support through giving to those who serve youth at-risk.
In times of greater need, we’re asking for your continued support and generosity.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY …
Throughout the 2020-2021 school year, Raising Youth Resilience, a 501 C(3) youth mentoring organization, will meet the needs of at-risk children at Cesar Chavez and Stagg High Schools, as well as Bush Elementary; a student body of an anticipated 3,900 kids.
For those students entering high school as freshmen, their student advocates and mentors serving children in K-8 follow their students when they graduate into high school as part of the program’s vital system of continuity.
Your generous donation today will directly help to provide ongoing and increased support for our at-risk youth, including alternative points of access during school closures and/or reduced class times as the community manages the threat of Covid-19.

THE COVID-19 EFFECTThe challenges faced by at-risk youth pre-Covid19 are compounded by school closures and social distancing restrictions, and the isolation that follows. Dysfunctional dynamics are often in play at home and can include domestic violence, drugs and alcohol abuse or a general lack of positive supervision, all of which increase the risk of students finding themselves in harm’s way. |
